Conferences
The flagship activity of the KDMA is the annual conference. First held in 1976, the association has hosted a conference each year in a local or overseas destination. The conference aims to achieve excellence in many aspects – a broad range of speakers with interest for both specialists and general practitioners, quality accommodation and facilities, interesting locations and activities, and good value for families. Attendance is open to both members and non-members of the KDMA.

KDMA Looong Weekend Dubbo Zoo Conference
First KDMA LWE Conference is to be held at Taronga Western Plains Zoo – Dubbo from 24th-27th April
A perfect family weekend away at the end of the school holidays encompassing the Anzac Day holiday.
KDMA Looong Weekend Uluru Conference
Second KDMA LWE Conference is to be held in Uluru from 11th – 14th July
Again, conveniently during the July school holidays which is the best time of year to see Uluru. Fabulous family holiday for those with school age children and a must see for all.
KDMA Looong Weekend Kingscliffe Conference
Third KDMA LWE Conference is to be held in Kingscliff from 31st October to 2nd November. Brochure coming soon.
